Will Asda Tempt You?

With the new Asda in Ware set to open on Thursday 14th May, will anyone be tempted to shop there instead of a Hertford store?

Will certainly give it a go - there are actually a couple of things they sell that we like but you dont get in Tesco and Sainsburys at all and not in Waitrose Hertford.

Unlikely to be a permanent destination but probably at least once every 5-6 weeks I would guess.

Possibly. I shop at the Asda in Stevenage occasionally and it's great value, although you have to know which products to avoid as some of them are terrible quality (yes, tasteless, watery carrots, I'm looking at you...)

Definitely go in and see as occasionally use the Asda in Stevenage.

I tend to use Aldi (best Value), Tesco (most convenient location = next to HFE) and Sainsburys (best shopping experience - airy and empty).

Unless Asda can provide something different, I cannot see me driving over there that much.

Probably not as partner works next to ASDA in Stevenage.

Not at all. I'm pretty surprised that there's still demand to keep building the huge stores - doesn't everyone do it online now?

I like online in principle but with a full time job and a busy teenager with sporting activities, I cannot often find a slot that I can guarantee to be in except for after 9pm and I just cannot face receiving and putting away my shopping that late.
I also find doing the online shopping bit more slow than nipping around a store.
And I can decided my own substitutions.
