Primary School Open Days?

Now the applications process for primary schools is now open, I've been looking to try and find out online when the schools have open days. I haven't had much success. The official advise appears to be "contact the schools directly" but surely they don't want a hundred parents all ringing them asking the same question?

Before I contact harrassed school secretaries, am I missing something and does the information exist out there somewhere?

We went through the process this time last year and had to call each school direct. They generally hold the visits over a couple of days.

Fascinating and informative but nothing about open day dates which was the query.

Primary schools generally don't have open days. I am sure if you phone them up they will arrange a day for a tour of the school.
