Where to donate childrens toys?

We're having a bit of a clear out of toys and just wondered whether there is anywhere other than a charity shop that you might be able to donate them to? I remember last year Jack FM (as it was) was running some sort of toy donation for a local charity for underprivileged kids but I dont know the details.

Not sure if they take donated toys or if they only want charitable cash donations but it may be worth a call, its a very worthwhile cause.
