Hertford Town - doing well.

Post by Ewoowar » Wed 15 Oct, 2014 11:23 am

Hertford Town FC are currently tenth in the league............but the third placed team are just three points ahead.

The team are playing well and the crowd are enjoying it.

Next home match is on 25th October at 3pm against one of the teams above us.

Arsenal are away that day and Spurs don't play until the Sunday so let's get as many down to West Street as we can.

An impressive 4-2 win today away to Tring who we now go above to take 9th place. Only 2 points behind 3 rd place after 3 league wins on the trot.

Next Saturday we play another team that we will overtake if we beat in Oxhey Jets. OJ have been our bogey team in the last couple of seasons beating us 7-0, 7-1, 4-0 and 3-0. Come and see if the revitalised blues can put the recent past behind us and show how much we have moved on.

We had a set back on Monday with a break-in and theft of a mower and a pump. Need a big turn out for tomorrow's match to lift our spirits. Come support the blues and help our volunteers get over this set-back.

Kick-off is 3pm but come early and watch the West Ham v Man City game screened in the club house at 12:45pm

A 5-2 win for the blues yesterday to make it 4 wins on the trot and take us up to 7th in the league.

Next Saturday we have a home match in the FA Vase. Hopefully the boys can keep up their winning streak and get a step closer to the final at Wembley.
