Hertford Town FC - New Season/Era

Post by LoucasX » Sat 02 Aug, 2014 10:36 am

It's that time of year again!

On Tuesday we won our first competitive game of the season against Tring in first round of Herts Charity Shield.

Next fixtures are (all at home):
7:45pm Tues 5th Aug v Enfield Town (friendly)
3pm Sat 9th Aug v London Tigers (opening league match)
7:45pm Tues 12th Aug v Hoddesdon (local derby league match)

Should be an exciting season as every single player that ended with us last season has come back! Plus we have introduced a new reserve/U21 team and a new ladies team. Our youth teams have continued to attract more players and we are up from 30 teams last season to 33 teams this season......the future is blue!

Look forward to welcoming you to The Park this season.

Thx HB&B

We beat Enfield Town 3-1 last night but it tuned out to be their u21 team.

Can't wait for the start to the league season on Saturday and then the local derby with Hoddesdon on Tuesday.

If anyone from this forum says they are coming to either of those matches, I will buy them a drink at the match. Who's in?

2-1 win for the blues in the first league match of the season yesterday despite having 8 players out due to injury/suspension/holidays/work.

We played really well and are certainly entertaining to watch. Leigh Rose scored both goals.

Next up at The Park is the local derby v Hoddesdon on Tuesday. They also won yesterday so it will be an interesting night.
