Hertford is very lucky to have a choice of train operators.
Unfortunately it's a choice of the worst two

I love that FCC are going all out to introduce their new trains but you can put your house on it that you won't see any of them on the Hertford Loop.
Re: Choice of Train Operators
I am pretty sure the Posters advertising the new trains state they wont be on the Hertford loop. Nice though that they told us!

Re: Choice of Train Operators
that rolling stock was first used fro 1976! They've just repainted it and changed the seating layout in that time! shocking to think thats about 40 years old now.. and still using the "Old" trains.. must be expensive for new parts !!!
Re: Choice of Train Operators
Err I think you'll find if fcc could buy new stock they would - problem is the ridiculously lame people who make the kit.
Also; bear in mind the "new" trains on the victoria line whilst very lovely and nice, are actually just face lifted 70's models too. In train terms its all about the fitout not the age of the chassis.

I like that terminology "its not about the chassis its about the fitout" I shall use that when out and someone says I am a bit old !!!
Re: Choice of Train Operators
By the sound of it train users in Hertford might be able to run up a record for the most compensation claimed if they put their minds to it
