In today's Mercury it says it could be 6 months or 2 years, must be better than empty and derelict. Shames its not still Elsden the photographist !

This application makes no sense whatsoever. Noble Cars already has a lease agreed and will be moving onto the site soon. Very confused indeed. Ultimately though it will be homes, so will get smartened up at some stage in the not too distant future.

Given the site is in a conservation area and you even need planning permission to cut a tree back I'll be interested to see how well the council manages this. Keen to see the area smartened up and redeveloped sympathetically, but the worst possible outcome as far as I am concerned would be for the site to end up looking like a junk yard at one end and with overly bright signage the other ....

conservation area or not, it _was_ a garage, so it can continue to be a garage. And if they want to advertise, then they have that right!
