Not sure when they went up, But Lanes have put signs up saying "Site Acquired For Client". Does anyone know what is happening.

I've heard a used car business are interested in the site.

And despite the vandalism of the mural by the site owners maybe its worth speaking to the new occupiers who may be interested in keeping the feature on the wall rather than turning it into another magnolia/grey blank space?

Word on the street is that it is to become a combined coffee shop / hairdressers / bookshop / estate agent / "local" supermarket / charity shop that will draw all the custom from the town centre.
