why don't they just apply for permission? seems a no brainer. The only reason they got stopped was because they didnt have permission, not because they wouldnt be allowed it.

Part of any "permission" would include the need to comply with EA regulations on discharges to surface drains which is the expensive bit to get right. :cry:

According to the minutes of the Development Management Committee Meeting, this issue has been resolved, leaving just the site use outstanding.

The plans look reasonable and good to see they are proposing to build houses rather than more flats. The car showroom and car wash etc. was always a temporary location and the development appears to be a step forwards for the area getting rid of a bit of an ugly building.

If you go to the 3D drawings it is interesting how much they can fit in. Looks like the wedge shape is 3 flats....................
