Yes - did a bit of Christmas shopping there last year and went back to treat ourselves to posh shades for our new kitchen and hallway this summer.

Would strongly recommend this.

Will pop in for sure as last year was great. My son loved watching the glass be blown.

I was most surprised to find the light I paid less than £50 for was over £200 on their website.

The exact same light? Made by the same company? Using the same manufacturing methods? It does seem surprising, yes.

Hi Guys, the prices are greatly reduced at our open day due to the fact that most of the work on sale are second quality or samples that have been made over the year.

Some of the reasons why a piece of glass might be a second include bubbles, inconsistency in the glass, ash marks from our wooden blocks or just the size/shape not being right. As it is all handmade we do get a number of these over the year... ;)

It is our opinion that it is better to sell them at near enough cost price rather than bin them...

They are real bargains to be honest and the open day is also a lovely way for us to show people what goes into the work we make.

Look forward to welcoming all on Saturday, we will be demoing all day

It was cheap, I was surprised to see how much the 'real' thing goes for on the website.
Not sure why mine is a second, I can't see any blemishes in the glass, but I am not an expert.
It must be a slightly too big or small version, or one with a slight difference in the colour of glass. It looks fantastic and I love it!
