There is a post on spotted saying Waitrose is closing in Hertford and a new one is being built as part of Van Hagues.

I can see what will happen here;
A 'Little Waitrose' opens at a garden supermarket in Ware as a concession.

Judging by the state of it over the Christmas period, I think Van Hage is already the centre of the universe.

Mrs.T is referring to the
Spotted in Hertford Facebook page. There's one for many towns,
Spotted in Ware is another.

They have had the surveyors in to establish if this would be possible or not. The Hertford site cannot expand where it is, therefore they are looking at various options. They would only apparently be able to build within the confines of the actual garden centre grounds.
Its a great idea to get some more staff going through Van Hage's doors.
