I see on another site that East Herts Electrical are closing. The owners are retiring. Hope it is not another empty shop too long.

That's a shame, one of the best retailers in the town.

Great shame about it closing - whenever you need an unusual bulb, etc. its always in stock. Good luck to the guys retiring as they're always helpful and gave ready advice on their products - I'll be dropping in shortly to pick up some cooker hood, oven and fridge spares!

Maybe Botsfords would be interested in the 'spares' side of the business?

And surprise, surprise, the shop is still empty! Another coffee shop or hairdressers I suppose although hope it doesn't go the way of the old McDonalds - still empty some 10 years later.

"Old McDonalds" should become a farm shop! lol

A real shame to see these guys close. The only few places to buy incandescent light bulbs.
