The link to the Design & Access Statement doesn't work. This is probably the most important document on the site.highwood38 wrote: ↑Wed 28 Nov, 2018 8:55 pmIt says they've now submitted their planning application, but I can't see anything on East Herts website.

Their response to feedback so far is interesting. They talk about widening Marshgate drive, but not much about the fact the overall access issues would be further down the road near the station or the junction with Ware road. Also they talk about new "walking, running and cycling routes" but I struggle to see where these would be on the plans (other than getting around within the development, which I'm not sure counts). It would be nice if a development like this put in place better joined up pedestrian access points for people, so that future developments could then work off that to create a good overall pedestrian network. As it is they just put a small green space in the back of each development and then close it off which doesn't really help much.
Could be here. Or search on the ref number.3/18/2465/OUT | Hybrid planning application comprising: Full planning permission for 383 residential dwellings (comprising 29 houses and 8 apartment buildings for 354 apartments), car and cycle parking, access, open space, landscaping and associated works, improvements to Marshgate Drive and creation of a Spine Road in the Northern Sector; and Outline planning permission for the construction of 1,500 square metres of employment floorspace, car parking, landscaping and associated works (all matters reserved except access). | (HERT2) Land East Of Marshgate Drive Hertford Hertfordshire SG13 7AQ
Wow, they're certainly risk adverse when it comes to GDPR. Practically every person featured in the photos on the Design & Access statement has a white square over their face. Completely unnecessary.jbond wrote: ↑Fri 30 Nov, 2018 6:13 pmPlanning application 3/18/2465/OUT

Norbury site is not included in application... It's a bit daft really as it's just ignored. Will cause a massive problem for EHDC noise abatement officer who will have a statutory duty to investigate complaints..
The design and access statements tend to be the best place to go for a summary. I downloaded the first file (itself over 80 pages) which is useful. Could not access the second file.TcfL wrote: ↑Sat 01 Dec, 2018 1:24 pmAs I am no expert in planning applications and readers might not want to read all the documents here is their Covering letter outlining the proposals
