I assume these will be on the old Garage site in North Road:

House 1
House 2
House 3

Agreed - sandwiched between the two busiest roads in Hertford

"Off Road Parking"

Oh they must mean that little "slip road" or "lay-by" that runs next to the A414

Pricing on Application, but listed before (more expensive than) a nice 4 bed Victorian town house on Villiers Street listed at £695,000.

Since when was a 4 bed terrace on Villiers worth £695k? I know, usual routine - Mr and Mrs Professionalcouple sell their flat in Camden for £500k+ and bag a (relative) mansion in Hertford for a mere couple of hundred K more. But where will it end? Where will our children be able to afford to live? Northampton? (not, for the avoidance of doubt, am I suggesting there is anything wrong with Northampton!)

We drove past there today and noticed the building progress, but can't help but think they really are on an island between two busy roads. Not much of a view from the front nor the back, and surely it is going to be noisy? The windows seem awfully close to the roads.

The houses themselves look ok, no issue with them, but the location just scares me. I think they are being billed as family homes but I cant imagine wanting my child to grow up there. If the traffic is busy then the fumes will be awful, if the traffic is light then the speed will scare me.

So close to the A414, wonder how long before a car actually hits a house?

They seem to be building two rows of houses on the part of the site nearest the old building. They look like they are about 5 metres from each other so lets hope the residents don't need any natural light and get on well with the neighbours !!

I cant even work out where there will be space for the three bins each, never mind the cars :?
