A602 to Stevenage - Closed

The road is closed just beyond the Watton at Stone bypass as you get to Hooks Cross. Huge volume of water there apparently and more rolling down off the fields. My other half decided to brave it and only just made it through, water was up to the sills of the car. If anyone heading that way today, I should try a different route either using A414/A10 or through Bennington (although that may be suffering too). My Other half will be coming back through Welwyn tonight.
