Hi,

Visited boots the other day, they were ok, as can only be expected from a chain, but not overly helpful. So I went to coop on maidenhead street, they were useless. Pharmacist said "you need a prescription for that product" which was completely untrue - hasn't got a clue. Did not offer any further help or assistance.

So i went to that tiny one on fore street - couldn't have been any more helpful! They knew the product, ordered it immediately, took my details and I picket it up the next day. Great!

Dan

I know this sounds weird but I have had excellent service from the pharmacy in Tescos. I went there one Saturday evening in a lot of pain and the lady there was really helpful and discussed my options and what might help and side effects etc. I was very pleasantly surprised.

I only went as I knew they would be open and everywhere else would be closed (about 6.45 on a Saturday and I was not in a position to look up alternatives at that time).

We obviously all have different experiences, I gave up on Boots when things were never in stock and the told me something was no longer available.................I am still getting it from the Co-Op 3 years later! and Sheffield's when they "Lost" prescriptions. I now use the Co-Op and so far have always had excellent service. I have to get things for two elderly parents and an elderly neighbour and they are always most helpful in the Co-Op.
