gutters etc

Hi all, we need someone to clean some gutters and check out a downpipe that may be blocked. Any good suggestions please?

Did you find anyone you would recommend Carlos?

I'm also interested in a recommendation for guttering. Really this forum appears to be disintegrating - used to be so good!

We wanted someone but have given up and persuaded my 16 year old to climb a ladder and give them a quick clean out as they keep overflowing in this weather.

Still want someone to do a professional thorough job though.

Hmm. Unfortunately we don't have anyone we know who would like to climb up and clean out our gutters. And anyway, it is going to need scaffolding. But after looking further into this forum I found a recommended roofing company who came down very promptly and put in a quote. Only problem, it is more than £1000. Just to clean the gutters???? So we are now looking around further.

Our window cleaner Paul Barton did ours recently for a reasonable fee as a Saturday morning odd job. Let me know if you want his number.

How far up are your gutters? I know health and safety rules etc but surely somebody could go up a ladder?
