Coming to the end of a long cycle ride this morning, I fancied a quick refreshment before rolling down the hill to Hertford.

Pulled up at the Farmer's Boy only to discover that it is 'closed until further notice due to circumstances beyond our control'!!!!!! :o

Up for lease by Enterprise Inns at a weekly rent of £933 with ingoing costs of 22k.

Let's hope another good country pub hasn't bitten the dust long term.

Hi Robbo its been closed since March when the business went bust I believe. I'd have thought that it would be viable given the amount of weekend lunches they used to sell.

Always was one of my favourite spots when coming to the end of a spin on the bike too! Let's hope somebody enterprising comes forward and takes it on.

It's not a pub I have been to very often, but the times I have, I have usually eaten there and always found the food to be good, with nice pleasant service too. Let's hope that whoever takes over can match the previous standards.
