What happened to Oyster too? Wasn't that one of the plans to bring Oyster to Hertford East?

They've sacked all the cleaners to employ more staff to check tickets obviously! This is the only bit of the service that they seem able to manage, the running of it appears beyond them. There's definitely no time for customer service

Checking tickets is another of my bugbears - saw them recently checking tickets up until Waltham X then just sat down and read their papers - is it too busy or just too much hassle past this point?

Maybe it's a coincidence, but the service has been really bad lately. Cancellations last Monday morning, several delays in the week, cancellation of the 18:11 last night and a disrupted service this morning (including cancelling the 06:57 - no word on the 07:27 yet, they haven't responded to my Tweet asking for details).

First trip on the line for a few days and HFE is a disgrace. Filthy dirty with litter and pigeon droppings everywhere, ticket office shut but at least the machines were working. Mrs G tweeted Abelio and awaiting response.

Thanks Steve,

I've just returned and the station has been cleaned of the litter but the pigeon droppings and feathers remain (similar to in the video) and will probably need to be jet washed and specialist cleaning. The platform areas earlier this morning were disgusting with literally bags of litter including take-away packaging, cigarette butts, papers, leaflets etc and I was quite shocked at how bad it could be on a Tuesday morning. This is not a difficult issue to resolve however it will need human intervention - something that seems to be lacking around the station.
