It sounds like he's going to jail but not convicted of manslaughter - I'm not an expert but it appears that the defence made enough of a case to acquit on the manslaughter charge due to the bouncer having a heart condition and that he probably shouldn't have been doing the job on the door. The accused was fuelled with drink and drugs - what if it had been a member of the public who had intervened at the door, been hit and subsequently died would the jury have found the case differently?

Complicated case but he'll hopefully be disappearing from our streets for a few years.
