Murder At The Stonehouse

Post by Steve » Sat 23 Aug, 2014 12:27 pm

Rumours circulating that there was a killing at The Stonehouse last night.

The site is currently cordoned off and a SOCO team working in the area immediately in front.

This is a absolutely horrendous crime. Thoughts with the mans family at this sad time.

Sadly Hertford at weekends as become more of a wild west punch up than a enjoyable experience, The massive increase in people visiting the town and cheap drinks deals causes havoc, Only last Saturday night I witnessed four fights by groups of lads or people smashed out of there heads. Sadly there as now been this terrible outcome.

My thoughts are with the victim and his family; tragic for a man who went out to work on a Friday evening and never came back.

All this eternal talk of "out of towners" enjoying the Hertford nightlife always winds me up .

The County town should be a focal point to be enjoyed by everyone and it really is a bumpkin attitude to suggest otherwise .

The overwhelming majority of all visitors are perfectly well behaved .

Given Steve's love of pedantry I'm surprised that he has entitled this thread 'murder at the stone house'

From a legal perspective it is quite possible that this wasn't a murder at all (it is obviously a tragic incident however it is framed).

But to suggest that this is murder at this stage is quite wrong.

Heart condition or not, this still seems to be a lenient outcome
