A great afternoon at Hertford Town FC.

Hertford Town FC was buzzing on Saturday.
A charity day with a local football club in aid of Kids With Cancer UK and local charity Mudlarks Community Garden saw more that £1,000 raised for the causes and with most staying on for the leeague match with Hertford Town playing Cockfosters the attendance was a whopping 559. (To put this in perspective, some Scottish league teams you hear week in, week out when the results are read don't reach that level).
The atmosphere was great, as was the support from all.
Well done to all who organised it.
Let's hope some new supporters will come along to the next match.

Was great to see so many boys and girls from Bengeo Tigers Youth FC enjoying the day. So proud that charities Mudlarks and Children with Cancer UK will each get a cheque for £500

Just out of curiosity, as the photos only show Bengeo Tigers kids, does that mean there was HT Youth involvement?

No Hertford Town Youth involvement this time. They will feature heavily in our fans day on Saturday 25th April.
This is the last match of the season against Stotfold and it will be free entry to all. We already have The Bad Men lined up to play a few tunes after the match. Hertford Town Youth FC kids will be playing on the pitch before the main match and will be mascots and ball boys.
Will be another bumper crowd for sure and a great atmosphere to end what has been our best season for many years.

The highlight was after the match with the players kicking 150 balls in to the air for the kids to grab and take home. Think the players were just as excited as the kids!
