Re: It's Tuesday so it must mean trouble on the trains
Is it just me or has the Hertford North deteriorated recently? When I moved from Ware to Hertford, I switched lines and found them much more frequent and reliable than the Hertford East line but recent events seem at odds with this opinion. I switched to Hertford East this morning and all was well....

Re: Wallace House Surgery
I am always too scared of Doctor's receptionists  When I tried complaining to them on the phone they were quite scathing of the fact that they had a doctor of sick, it wasn't a nurse I needed but a doctor and I wasnt the only one needing appointments. I must add that when I did have the appoin...

Re: Foggy Lights
Rear fog lights must be fitted. I imported a car a couple of years ago and that particular variant was never sold in the UK so did not have the means to have one a fog light and we had to retro fit one to get it through the MOT. It was a right PITA

Re: Wallace House Surgery
I wanted to organise an appointment for a clinic (so not urgent and via the nurse) and the first time I called, I waited for 22 minutes and then told they would call me back. Two weeks later, no call back. Second time I called, I waited 27 minutes to be told I would be sent an appointment in the pos...

Re: Hertford North Disruption
I have found the Twitter feed really useful, just need to remember to check it. I follow Greater Anglia as well. You can also see fellow passengers tweets so sometimes that really sheds some light on what is happening. When you tweet to them for clarification, they usually reply. I have had very sil...

Re: Hertford North Disruption
Did exactly the same and my OH dropped me at HFE.
I often check on twitter before I leave in the morning but didn't today. Never mind, the Greater Anglia Trains were running ok. Hope it is sorted for tonight.

Re: Foggy Lights
Nope, not something new. Was there when I passed my test in the '80s. 114 You MUST NOT use any lights in a way which would dazzle or cause discomfort to other road users, including pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced. You ...

Re: Foggy Lights
The practice of using fog lights when not needed (to apparently announce your presence in your BMW/Audi/Mercedes/Land Rover) gets right on my pip too. Um, one of our cars appears in your list  But we don't use fog lights willy nilly. Anyhow, it reminds me of an old joke that I recently rehear...
