Re: Cleaner
Wanted to bump this up the list as we are now looking for a cleaner also. Can admin copy over the posts from the old forum? Or if anyone can recommend someone that would be great.

Re: Hertford's lovely walks and...
Taking my son to school this morning, walking along Elton Rd/Church Rd and it appears the 'less their dogs mess on the ground' brigade were out in force again last night! Having to stop my son running along so he doesn't step in it is really annoying. I really want to catch the culprets, pick their ...

Re: Hertford's lovely walks and...
As a dog owner i completly agree. Have to say this sort of thing really annoys me. In fact where we live, there has recently been a spate of hanging bags on peoples bushes outside their house. I find it amazing that people have the front to tie their dogs mess to someones bush in their front garden....

Architect
Can anyone recommend a local architect, that they have used or know, that would be able to provide feedback on my current extension plans? They are currently all in my head and I’ve no idea if they are actually feasible so ideally want someone to be able to come round, listen, advise and then if pos...

Hertford Primary School
Seeing as we have a 'Secondary School' Topic I thought i'd start one on the local Primary Schools. Our son is due to start reception in September and having just sent in our choice of schools, i wondered if anyone on here had any feedback about the local schools? We are in Bengeo and having spend th...

Re: 16 Jan morning rush hour delays caused by...
It's so annoying. Did the 07.50 or 08.05 run? I was aiming for the 08.20 this morning and that was cancelled. I cannot understand why a problem in Welwyn causes no trains to run from Hertford...I'm getting so tired of the service, its rare now that a train will run to the timetable. It went to bad t...

Re: Train Cancellation/Station Skipping
I had to catch a train to Stevenage, change and get a fast train from there to Finsbury Park, change again and get a train into Moorgate. I'm getting sick and tired of 'signalling problems'! They are happening so often at either Alexander Palance or Gordon Hill that surely it's time to actually make...

Re: Mercury poll result
Had I voted it would have been 'No'. I believe we should be trying to preserve our green belt land. If it gets destroyed, what benefits would there be to living in Hertford vs any other 'inner' London town. The green belt around Hertford is a huge selling point, losing it is just not worth thinking ...
