Perhaps the thread title should have a question mark. Is it definite that they are leaving Hertford?
I would imagine that they could easily relocate to another office in Hertford.

Re: Yellow Lines on Good Friday
Do the civil enforcement officers (I think that is what they are now called) get a day off?

Re: Sainsbury's
I'd be very surprised if opening that car park as a public thoroughfare would be permitted.

Re: leaky tap
Take it to the plumbing shop in Hertford town centre for reference and buy a new one for just a couple of pounds (if that). Where is this plumbing shop? Every now and then I need something plumbing related and end up in e.g. Wickes or looking at the closed sign outside Botsfords... Somehow never no...

Re: Town Council Elections
Sorry to hear that John will not be running for town council. I stood in 2010 general election as an independent and think it is important to have more independents at all tiers of government. I took part because I was put off by party politics and had heard stories about how party politics and sel...

Re: Town Council Elections
The choice not to vote is as much a democratic right as those who choose to do so.
At the moment I am undecided.
Personally I am more inclined to vote for someone who is not alligned to a mainstream polictical party and may have toe the line. I'm not saying they all do and maybe I am cynical.

Re: New Devlopment Railway Street
I heard a rumour that the Charvills site could be used for a relief road connecting Mill road with Railway street, allowing the area at the front of Hertford East to be pedestrianised. All the traffic from the industrial area (and flats) to go directly to the main A414 roundabout at "M&S", which wo...

A great afternoon at Hertford Town FC.
Hertford Town FC was buzzing on Saturday. A charity day with a local football club in aid of Kids With Cancer UK and local charity Mudlarks Community Garden saw more that £1,000 raised for the causes and with most staying on for the leeague match with Hertford Town playing Cockfosters the attendance...

Re: Your Favourite Supermarket
I don't understand 'Won't shop in Tescos on principle'. What principle? I genuinely do not know what this means? Just to defend them a little bit (although I do still prefer Sainsburys due to the spacious store and car park), I frequently have to buy 12 or more French sticks to provide breakfast do...
