No Power at Hertford East
It was eerie this morning as the power was out (no displays or ticket machines) and all the clocks were stopped at 6:59:59. I wonder what happened then? Maybe they tried to turn the oyster machines on?

That seems to be the case following the county council's latest set of subsidy cuts. Just the odd 383 and 384 going the long way round. That service is not changing. Of course none of these cuts were needed as the council has an annual underspend of £25million! (not to mention the massive reserves....

We have used Hertford Flooring domestically for fitting carpets and lino and we were very pleased with the service and results, however I wouldn't know about tiling commerical premises but they do have a "commercial flooring" section on their website.

I had a conversation with one of the guards at Seven Sisters (when the Hert East train was cancelled...) who said that he was really glad London Overground was taking over as the Hert East customers would be rerouted via Tottenham Hale and he was sick of the complaints that he got due to this line....

I went to have a drink here yesterday (Monday) and it was shut and all dark with a blackboard outside saying "Closed for a technical problem" or something like that. Anyone know what is/was going on?
