has anyone ever considered making this a road?

join up the leisure centre to mead lane - it would reduce town centre traffic, and solve the old cross problems . Sorted! then we get the bypass too and utopia is restored :)

im sure it has been considered and written off for some reason or another?

new rolling stock rolls out next year, so that argument is irrelevant. one things for sure though, there are now more services than there were 16 years ago. Although to be fair the age of the rolling stock doesn't really have any relevance, it's the lack of maintenance that harms reliability that is...

thanks that's pretty handy actually the lib dems and labour are very similar. Suspect the tory one is similar too :o) . Not really sure why party politics comes in at the local level. There's quite some BS there (including the generic we'll drive out bad practice in the NHS - as if.), but the labour...
