Re: Bengeo Byelection

Joby Disappointing in 3 ways:

So many people voting ukip
So many people in a "tory" area voting labour ( If that translates to a general election then we're screwed )
Lib dem so nearly getting in - A tiny bit more work and they'd have done it. They must be gutted.

Re: Hertford Primary School

but its important, because your local/closest school might well be a faith based school. So you should realise people could get in above you for that reason. So it's not just about distance at all.

Re: Hertford Primary School

not true Georgie - for the church associated schools that gets you up the list too - and they diferentiate between attending the actual associated church, vs some other church in the local area.

Re: Hertford Secondary Schools

be careful about the whole sg13/sg14 thing - there's a website where you can put in your actual address and it'll tell you if you would have got in or not.

It seems pretty crazy, but I get the impression that just sg13 is no guarantee of getting in. There's this whole priority area thing too.

Re: 16 Jan morning rush hour delays caused by...

I've been commuting myself for at least 5 years now and it's never been anything like this. Mark prisk is taking networkrail on apparently and going t...

Re: 16 Jan morning rush hour delays caused by...

todays excuses were indeed baffling. Just seemed to be a variety of ways to blame network rail ( who to be fair are under-performing appallingly right now ) there is a depot at WGC i wonder do trains come out of there, go to stevenage then back down the loop? Probably not, but that could explain it....

Hertford Tech Meetup - Jan 2014

Hi, the next Hertford tech meetup will be next Thursday 23rd Jan at the white horse. 8pm as usual.
There'll even be a candidate for the by-election there so you can bet the conversation will turn political at some point!
