Re: Hertford Bypass

I'm not a traffic expert, but the problem is related to reducing 2 lanes to 1 in various places. Solve that and you flow better. widening the train bridge for example. MUCH cheaper too. Also, the window of bad traffic is relatively small. It's only when there's external bad events e.g. m25 failures,...

Re: Hertford Bypass

Huh. Key points: 1. Housing growth is currently constrained - meaning there'll be a boom on houses once the road is built (and probably therefore more traffic) 2. Explicitly says will draw MORE traffic off the M25. Hence will be busy from day 1. (And curiously if local junctions are put in, these co...

i've also had a less than good experience through rated people. It's basically just a scam I think where friends rate each other, then do crap work.

Re: The End of Pay & Display

i doubt the only 1 30 min ticket per day is across town, probably you can have 1 in london road, one in st. andrews etc etc :)

not sure why you'd ever do that, but i guess you could.

or maybe it is all super clever and intelligent now?

Re: Broxbourne Station Cars

Is that actually illegal? Don't know much about taxis, but they do seem to be regulated in a way other companies are not.

Clearly it's not very moral, and neither is it good for customer service, but then it's exactly what uber do with their surge pricing.

Re: GP Surgery in Hertford Recommendation?

funnily enough i was in there a few days ago too - on the walk in. I was seen within the hour, but was 5th in the queue. they did seem to prioritise some of the kids that were there. of course with a walk in you just take your chances, it's not ideal. they didn't even offer me a scheduled appointmen...

So i've booked a session here:

I'll report back!

I do like the fact this place does early morning though. Very clever - not many places seem to do that.

Hiit in hertford?

Hi, is anyone doing Hiit in hertford? Which one do you do?

I see there's one at Hartham, if you can fathom the crazy registration process. But suspect there's others too?

Or even anything on this side of Welwyn (Don't know welwyn that well!)
