We did go to Dil's in the end. I had mixed feelings. One of the staff was very friendly and helpful but the rest not so much. Whilst tasty, the Madras and Passanda sauces were more of a puree.

Well, I didn't stick around long enough to find out if there was an intervention from the Hertford club or not. I had my elderly parents with me so we left as soon as we heard what was being sung. He seemed to have got to the end of the song without any interference though. I'm sure the organisers ...

There was a time when The Hertfordshire Mercury saw itself as a part of the community and reported good news and bad. It engaged with and supported the community (remember the Mercury Bus?). Those days have long gone. They now see the residents as nothing more than clickbait. A community to exploit ...
