Re: New Wine Shop

I tried to persuade these guys to come to Hertford. They were keen to move into the old MacDonalds building, but the post office beat them to it. Convenience store, restaurant, and bar all rolled into one. Massive range of craft beers in the store, and you can drink them in the bar with a small cork...

Re: Bengeo Gravel Extraction

Why can't they dig the gravel out near somebody else's house ? I appreciate that I'm happy to use sand and gravel, in fact I wouldn't have a house if there was no sand, but it's not fair that my house is temporarily blighted, when surely they could dig it out near Stevenage or Harlow where people wo...

Re: Tesco to stop 24 hour opening

Re: Parking on the pavements

Golden, would I be correct in assuming that you don't have a car, or if you do, have a driveway ?

Re: Parking on the pavements

I think you'll find that people will simply concrete over their front gardens and park there - I certainly will.

It's a shame, but if you have a car you have to park somewhere

Re: Crowd trouble at Hertford FC?

I wasn't there, so I'm only guessing.

But Hertford is predominately Spurs, and WGC is predominately Arsenal (a product of the train lines)
So I would imagine that WGC supporters might have pulled some old anti-spurs songs out of the bag ?

Could be totally wrong
