Re: Hertford North to Stevenage Consultation

They will have to recruit but they do have the time to do this.

Re: Driving Instructor

My son used Paul and really liked him. Hasn't passed his Theory yet so cannot take his practical and now off to Uni in a week but that is not Paul's issue.

I don't have contact details but I just googled "Paul Driving Instructor Hertford" and the first hit was him (blue Fiesta)

Re: New Trains and Additional Service at Hertford East

I would be interested to know as well. Yes there were delays and cancellations but if you remove the ones caused by outside factors (persons hit by trains, Network Rail failure, vehicle hitting bridges etc) and just look at ones ostensibly within their control, just how bad were they? And you cannot...

Re: New Trains and Additional Service at Hertford East

I don't understand. Everyone moans about the state of the trains and the frequency of the service. We get new trains announced and potentially increased service and people still moan. They cannot win. Do people just want to moan? . It may not be perfect but what is? Try looking at things positively ...

Re: Train cancelled - train crew shortage

Is it me or has the HN route deteriorated massively in the past week or two due to staff shortages? Affecting mainly the early morning schedules but it's every other train at the moment in either direction. I know Sothern trains are in the news but I can't find anything about us. Anybody aware of w...

Re: SG13 or SG14

Thanks Kateg28 for the positive reply. It is just not possible unfortunately to visit any schools as we are living abroad. Great to hear that Sele has done good for motivated teenagers with parents that are committed to their education...I know I am and cannot understand how a parent cannot be. Hav...

Re: SG13 or SG14

You should read the latest ofsted reports on sele, and look at their results and then make your choice. The problem for sele - is simply comparative. Simon balle, but especially presdales and richard hale are soooo good, that it makes sele look pretty mediocre. Yes I can indeed see the difference i...

Re: SG13 or SG14

To be honest I don't think there is a major issue. We are spoilt for choice with senior schools who are all very good, sometimes in very different ways and you have a certain amount of luxury in being able to choose. Two of them are single sex schools (one for each) and 3 are mixed so you have a cho...
