Barry's Meat Van

Does anyone know what has happened to the meat man who used to be in Market Square every Saturday with his lorry? Initially I just thought he was on his summer holidays but I haven't seen him there for a few weeks now and was always my 'go-to' person for decent cuts of meat and sausages.

Re: A Black Hole is forming

Add to that Emma H on Fore Street now gone too Understandable about the ones in Bircherley Green as the landlord is simply enforcing break options or not accepting renewals after the current lease expires due to the planned redevelopment. Not sure why the others are all going though...rental prices ...

Re: Extending Oyster To Hertford East

Peak single to Liverpool Street is £7.60.

Just checked my Oyster journey history and get the 7.27 from HFE in the morning and the 17.11 from LST in the evening - both peak trains and both charged at £7.60 each = £15.20 total for the day

Re: Extending Oyster To Hertford East

Normal return ticket to Liverpool Street at the ticket office costs £15.70

Having to use the Oyster Card yesterday due to queues at the ticket office & machines ended up with a return ticket costing me £15.20

Glad I did get fed up queuing in the end now!

Re: Extending Oyster To Hertford East

Good job the machines did go live this morning as queues for the ticket office & machines were huge as I arrived for the 7.27. Did attempt to queue as wanted to use some 'Delay Repay' vouchers but gave up as still not served after 10 minutes of queuing and train about to depart!

Re: Bollywoods

I have noticed that Bollywoods has been closed for the past couple of weeks...blinds down, no sign in the window stating what it happening, etc. Does anyone know what is going on with the place? Is it now closed permanently?

Were there any recommendations for a cleaner forthcoming as we are also looking for a new one now?
