Re: A414 Corridor Consultation

Not sure why some seem to be supporting HCC on this one. Is this not a problem that can be laid firmly at their door as they have done nothing since 1994 to address congestion, pollution, public tpt availability or providing road infrastructure to address planning applications, in and around Hertfor...

Re: A414 Corridor Consultation

Having made a quick read through I have many comments on this but was more interested in trying to tie down the proposed route and found this in the Habitat Regulations Assessment: "HRA implications. The closest part of the proposed bypass route options pass approximately 380m north of Wormey-Hoddesd...

Re: Bircherley Green Car Park closing 2-Jan-2019

We discussed with them the possibility of operating the car park...

Re: Street selling

In the article you post (Aug 18) it shows that the publication is Issue 1 (FREE MERCH with every issue!) and that is the same one they are pushing. However the vendor I met is not one of those shown.

Street selling

Walking through Hertford yesterday and came across a male selling 'The Veteran's Journey'. He was displaying a photograph badge and I mistakenly assumed it related to a Forces charity. Cost £3. When I finally arrive home and read it could find no reference to the funds raised going for any work towa...

Re: Hertford gasworks

Sorry about the links seemingly having failed but both documents are available on the EHDC site - perhaps Steve can look at the links on this site and whether something has happened between upload and display? I 've tried to upload the letter as a pdf but couldn't. You can also go to https://www.eas...

As I am no expert in planning applications and readers might not want to read all the documents here is their Covering letter outlining the proposals

Re: Hertford gasworks

My understanding is that it has taken a little time to put the application online as there are over 90 documents. The link is https://publicaccess.eastherts.gov.uk/o ... =firstPage

Ocado and The Times

Reading this article from yesterday's Times I'm not sure that the developer knows much about the local road geography

Re: Tamworth Road development

Respect your view and opinion but he did say he was trying to reflect the industrial heritage of the site and it does seem to lean that way. I suppose I also look at the area around Herts East and the 'upside down boat' which doesn't really reflect the railway history or North Road and what is IMO a...
