Re: 550 New Homes Planned for Sele Farm

Which land? Do you know where I can find links to this? Isn't Bengeo to the East of Sele Farm? I don't disagree about the need for new homes but I worry about affordable housing and I really worry about infrastructure. 550 New Homes Planned for Sele Farm

Following the sudden appearance of the "Save Ware's Green Belt" campaign to stop 1500 new homes being built on Green Belt land north and east of Ware, I wonder how many people are aware of the plans for Sele Farm? In short, The Council's District Plan has recently been subject to an Examin...

Beane Road/North Road cycling proposals

The County Council are conducting a survey on proposals for cycling "improvements" around North, Road, Beane Road and Hartham. Most of the proposals appear to be cosmetic and an excuse for the County Council to claim they are supporting and promoting cycling. It's just an extension of the ...

Bishop's Stortford Independent

Lliffe Media have just launched a new paid-for local newspaper in Bishop's Stortford to rival the Herts & Essex Observer. The Bishop's Stortford Independent is based in premises recently vacated by the Herts & Essex Observer, when they sacked the editor and closed down the office. Ironically...

Re: Fullers Force Closure of The White Horse

That's an odd thing to do. Did they give a reason when they closed it before? Went here just a month or so ago when they had a pop up food evening on and it was busy - and the beer and the gin were good! Fuller's mismanagement of the pub goes back a decade (ask any of the regulars if you've got an ...

Fullers Force Closure of The White Horse

Not for the first time, Fullers have forced the closure of The White Horse in Castle Street. It's now been closed for two weeks and as far as I'm aware there has been no comment from either the pub or brewery.
