Re: Fullers Force Closure of The White Horse

That's an odd thing to do. Did they give a reason when they closed it before? Went here just a month or so ago when they had a pop up food evening on and it was busy - and the beer and the gin were good!

Re: "Hertford & Ware" Mercury

Good to get feedback - and thanks to those who made positive comments. Axis was designed as a very different product from the local newspaper - the news in it is intended to keep those who might not have time to keep abreast of local issues on a daily basis up to date with the major news from the ar...

Re: "Hertford & Ware" Mercury

If it’s not already lining the bottom of the hamster cage, turn to page 32 and, if you don’t lose the will to live, read what I assume is a review (missing its headline) of Sfizio restaurant. Spelling, grammar and the utter amateur guff itself are all a disgrace and an example of why the local newsp...

Re: Car Wash

I don't know the name of it..but there's one in Mimram Road, Hertford. A short distance after you turn into the road from the A414 it's on the right. Around £15 to wash and dry the exterior and clean inside thoroughly too. Lovely guys and the car's always sparkling afterwards.

Re: Waitrose at Van Hages

Looks like there's movement on proposals for Bircherley Green. If you go to East Herts Council's website, look under the Council Information heading on the home page for the link to the calendar of meetings. There's one on November 2nd entitled "Bircherley Green Redevelopment Proposals (present...
