Like it or not the Hertford area is rich in gravel, the aggregate has to come from somewhere to build roads etc. adopting a stance of NIMBY is not really gong to work.

I think that the subsidy for bus services come from local goverment, I doubt that any further investment in bus services is going to happen as every council / goverment agency are looking to reduce opex - probably better to look at the overall services provided and come up a workable service (which ...

it would be interesting to see the split for illegal immigrants (I guess this number will be an estimation), something needs to be done regarding the number of immigrants in this country.
