Re: engraving

They don't open on Mondays, which I found frustrating the first time I tried to use them.
I must say they are worth the wait though!
Great service and a lovely reasonable repair on a well loved necklace of mine.

Re: Anybody looking for work?

I don't know anyone that will buy from a cold caller. I hate being disturbed for things like that and instantly think my house is being checked out for a burglary.
I think the elderly in particular can find it uncomfortable.

Lifebuoys

It looks like someone has been throwing the lifebuoys in the river over by Sainsbury's. Who should I contact to get them retrieved/replaced? Don't these idiots ever think? One day it might be their Mum/friend/little brother that needs to be rescued... (Sorry about the rant. Mindless vandalism really...

My family use him a lot, He lasered it rather than just soldering (?) it. It was a good repair and lasted a long time...

Re: Quarter Day Closures

We have started using the framers in Ware. They are good, but it was a lot more convenient to just walk round the corner. :(

We were told they were moving, but not where! Seems like a missed opportunity to me...
