Hertford Mercury website

Has the Mercury website gone the same way as it's paper version, i.e. weekly?

The latest story is about a crash on the M25 at Waltham Abbey on 29 November - 6 days ago.

The twitter account is also very quiet as well.

It would be interesting to see how he would address a high number of responses to questions 4 & 5 being "Price of tickets".

Re: "Hertford & Ware" Mercury

It just gets worse and worse. They are currently reporting that police have shut off a section of the A10 between Welwyn Garden City and Stevenage.

Re: Three cheers for Mark Prisk

If we're going to bring up Mark Prisk being the commuter's friend, maybe we should look at his voting record in parliament. He CONSISTENTLY voted against slowing the rise in rail fares. https://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/11172/mark_prisk/hertford_and_stortford/divisions?policy=6692 And he also voted ...

Re: Three cheers for Mark Prisk

I think that sloopjohnb has got it just about right with regards to the lack of opposition giving the impression that the people who live here are relatively content with how things are. And SJB also gave an actual example of Mr Prisk's input that helped a situation. Taking a look at Mark Prisk's we...

Re: Three cheers for Mark Prisk

Out of interest, can anyone give an example of something that Mark Prisk has done for the people of Hertford in the 16 years that he has been our MP? I'm talking about anything where it was a lost cause and he has intervened and turned it around or actively campaigned for something that wouldn't hav...

Me too. Voting to give public sector no pay rise for a seventh consecutive year and then CHEERING having won the vote. That's the sort of thing I judge them on.

Re: Three cheers for Mark Prisk

At last, the truth is out. Policemen & woman, firefighters, doctors and nurses you have been denied a pay rise for the seventh consecutive year due to narcissism. Another local cheerer, Charles Walker, has confirmed that the amendment was voted down purely because it was tabled by Labour. http:/...
