Re: GP Surgery in Hertford Recommendation?
Unfortunately they haven't. I had to use the surgery three weeks ago (having not been myself for a while) and decided to use the drop in facility. Arrived at 7:50 am, was 3rd on the list (number 3 with the green cards they give out). I thought i'd get through relatively quickly but i was wrong. Two ...

Re: RIP The Blackbirds
Interesting as that signage looks exactly like the the signage for the Stag pub and restaurant in Enfield Town. Have the owns sold to the owners of that one?

Re: Parking on the pavements
Great. With any luck that one of the roads will be Duncombe Rd so i can actually walk along the path with the pram and 5 yrs old and not have to spend most of the time in the road.

Re: GP Surgery in Hertford Recommendation?
Hi, I certainly won't be recommending Wallace House are they are terribly bad now. So bad in fact i'm thinking of moving the family to another surgery in Hertford. If we can find one that is taking new patients on.

Re: Hertford north station car park
Hi, at that time of then morning you should be fine getting a parking space. As for premier parking, there is only 8 spaces (I believe) and they are all taken when I walk through the car park at 8am. So I would just get a normal ticket and you will be able to park without problem.

Re: Understanding the market in hertford
I am really struggling to understand the market as well. How can a house in Nelson St be worth over £500k. I'm now thinking of getting my house valued as it seems to be silly season. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-51185618.html http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...

Re: Primary School Open Days?
We went through the process this time last year and had to call each school direct. They generally hold the visits over a couple of days.

Re: Bircherley Green Redevelopment
Real shame that Waitrose is leaving the town, M&S taking the space would be great but I cannot see that happening.
Where does that leave the new development? A unit of that size will be hard to fill if the old McDonalds site is anything to go by.

Re: Breathalysing Before Pub Entry
This is an excellent idea, and I can't see why anyone could possibly be against it. You should know that the law is pretty clear - a pub cannot serve alcohol to someone already drunk. Seems a very simple way of solving the problem ( also suspect they are on their last chance in this regard!) Define...
