Re: Hertford gridlocked
I heard there was an accident outside Heath Mount school, over Watton way. It was quite interesting seeing the St Andrews street traffic queue at Old Cross traffic lights stretch all the way back to the North Road cemetery. Even more interesting to see that about 50% of the people in the queue on th...

Re: Hertford Cameras closing
It seems they had some customer cameras in for repair when they closed. Does anyone know where they might have gone? There was a sign in the window but unhelpfully it's now been removed. I thought it said Rickmansworth, and I only remember that because I thought it was odd, but could be mistaken. Y...

Re: Dimsdale Street
Has anyone got any information on the status of the land at the rear of Dimsdale Street? I assume that the land and old school are owned by HCC,and I find it strange that this small area has been left to deteriorate so much. The rear of Bob Hill's old premises was recently converted, so I would hav...

Re: Cowbridge Traffic Cameras
I suspect it may be to do with re-scheduling the 6 weeks of road works at Old Cross that they had to abandon the other week because of chaos.

Re: Port Hill Skittles
I am not making excuses simply telling the truth, I do not wish to get into a battle over this, I am not that type of person. You will not see my car in that spot again as I do not want to cause a problem and certainly do not want to be upset by strong views shown in this thread. Don't worry Lisa -...

Re: Hertford's lovely walks and...
Well, the lesson then is - DON'T bag up the poo. As long as it's not in the way, just leave it for the slugs. Or toddlers to step in. Nice. As long as it's not in the way... It's a bit tough chastising well-intentioned people for bagging up poo for collection later, as I'm sure they're a different ...

Re: Hertford's lovely walks and...
I must admit, if I'm coming back the same way on a dog walk, I'll often leave the poop (scooped and bagged) by the side of the path and pick it up on the way back. Especially if there aren't any dog bins on the way and I know I'm going to be taking it home with me. I don't see the point of carting ...

Re: Old Cross 6-way Traffic Lights
The strange thing is that they've got a traffic light on the little lane that runs by the side of the old library.
I can't imagine queues of cars needing to be controlled coming out of there.
I wonder if that was intended for Hartham lane but they've put it in the wrong place?
