But seriously, why would it need to be any higher than the foot bridges?
potentially it could be one-way (out of hartham) to reduce traffic. it doesnt need to be a huge thing.
It's such an obvious idea, I assume it must have been discarded in the past for some reason or another - it's that why i'm looking for??

join up the leisure centre to mead lane - it would reduce town centre traffic, and solve the old cross problems . Sorted! then we get the bypass too and utopia is restored
im sure it has been considered and written off for some reason or another?
