Didn't realise how big the site was until I walked down Marshgate Drive, seems a fairly big site while walking along the tow path but it's absolutely mahoosively deep, much bigger than I envisaged.

Like the year of noise, dirt and disruption when they built your house then ?
Probably, I wasn't here at the time but it was a greenfield site back then (1904), on the edge of an industrial area with busy (steam) railway sidings, gravel pits, gasworks and a power station. That picture baffles me, I can't work out where it will be. Is this the place they're working on right now next to the towpath which will offer stunning views across the river to a load of light industrial units?
