There are fabulous opportunities that participation can provide including publicity for your organisation / business in the community, raising funds for your charity and of course great fun.

You could involve yourself as much or as little as you want. There are four ways you can join in:

Enter a float in the procession

It could be a traditional motorised float on a lorry van or car, a walking group in fancy dress, dancers on foot, a band, even a Chinese dragon... the possibilities are endless !

Take a Stall at Hartham Common

Distributing information, raising money for your charity, Tombola, crafts, Bric a Brac, games, produce, skittles, Hoopla, apple bobbing, coconut shy, spin -a- wheel, Sponsorship

Arena Events

Juggling, dancing, singing; again the possibilities are endless.

Sponsorship

Examples of items for sponsorship include Marquee hire £2,000; Public address £300; Medical cover including doctor £200; Live Bands from £150; a 15 piece steel band £900 and a Comedy Clown act £450. Also included are major arena events such as a flying display, parachutists or motorcycle display teams - again the possibilities are endless. There will be tremendous exposure to the local community and we are actively seeking the support of local business.

You may well have seen in the local press that we have been awarded a Lottery grant for Millennium events, which will enable us to invest in some capital items. This award is indicative of the high regard our organisation has by the 'Festival Awards For All' Millennium Lottery scheme fund holders. Our professionalism is already attracting new sponsors and there is definitely room for more local support.

We would be delighted to discuss with you any ideas you may have. We can tailor an appropriate event for the sponsor and we will work closely with major sponsors to ensure that they receive good value and appropriate exposure.
