Millenium Carnival St.Andrews Funday
St.Andrews Church Funday 2000 takes place in the Castle Grounds from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
The event features 24 stalls, a bouncy castle and entertainers. At midday there is a duck race, whilst from 11:30 onwards live jazz will be performed outside the Castle Hall.
Other attractions include the music of Sele School Orchestra, Wonderbrass and the Nice'n'Easy Jazz Band; children's entertainer Sean Squiggle, demonstrations of the oriental art of Tae Kwon Do, Steve Legg - daring and entertaining escapologist, a pirate galleon assualt course, and face painting by Sarah Harding.
Between 2:00 and 3:00pm the carnival procession will twice pass the nearby Castle Hall. Spectators can then follow the procession back to Hartham Common for the Arena Events.
All profits from the event will go towards rebuilding of the main porch of the church.
