Carnival
Hertford Carnival hit the streets in June. This year's theme was The Wild West.
Procession
The Procession through the town is the high point of the carnival and started with the arrival of the floats and walking groups on Hartham Common between 10:00am and noon. At 12:30 there was a Majorettes Display and the judging of the floats and groups. The procession left Hartham at 2:00pm for it's journey through the streets of the town, arriving back at the Common around 3:30pm.

Five-A-Side Football
There was a Five-A-Side football Competition between 10:00am and 6:00pm on Hartham Common.
Canoeing
Come and try canoeing sessions were held from 10:00am onwards. There will also be canoe racing from 11:30 - 1:30pm (100yds downstream of The Barge PH.
Jazz Band
A Jazz Band played outside The Castle Hall from 11:30am onwards.
Duck Race
There was a duck race in The Castle grounds at Noon.
Tennis Tuition
Tennis Tuition was available from 12-4 at Hartham.
Karate Display
There was a Karate Display between 1-1:30pm and 3-3:30pm.
Wild West Show
The Wild West Show started at 3:00pm on Hartham Common and featured Line Dancing, gun fights, horse riding, rope spinning and axe throwing. There were also be pony ries available and a Western souvenir stall.
Pop Concert
A six hour open-air pop concert took place on Hartham Common, starting at 2:15pm.
Children's Pool Party
A Pool Party was held at Hartham Pool between 5:30pm and 7:15.
