Pearls B4 SwinePopular and accomplished Hertford-based R&B band of nearly ten years. With near-on 1000 performances behind them they perform classic blues injected with contemporary arrangements. The line-up includes Brian Diprose (bass), Dave Ames (guitar), Dave Martin (guitar, vocals) and Pat Bonafont (drums). Dark TownDark Town currently have a cassette album available - Blues, Jazz and Other Animals. Fronted by harmonica player Roy Brazier, they frequently play in Hertford. Other band members are Dave Martin (vocals), Paul Budd (drums) and Veronica Parker (keyboards, vocals). Wyld ThymeFormed in 1989, Wyld Thyme perform a mix of covers and original material. They are Roger Akers (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Ridley Scott (guitar), Verna Akers (bass), Graham Takats (drums) and Amanda and Joanne Ayre (backing vocals). ThirteenUp and coming Hertford band Thirteen have played a string of gigs locally and are currently touting a demo tape in search of a contract. DreamswallowFormed in Autumn '97, this four-piece indie band hail from Hertford, Hoddesdon and Welwyn Garden City. Their first single, Story Of A Girl should be out around the end of March. Influences include The Manic Street Preachers, Ocean Colour Scene and The Charlatans. 3 GirlzThe imaginitively named 3 Girlz hail from Braughing, Ardeley and Potters Bar. Formerly known as Blush before an acrimonious split with their record company, they recorded a single - Feel My Vibe - available from Tracks of Hertford. They are currently touring the UK. 3Girlz are Natalie Kington, Fran Chapman and Anna Williamson. |
